oh and that acorn villages ltd community painting, 2004...the one that pat and I, had facilitated...at the meeting place....well, we had used 'thumbprints' as the initial 'motif' rather than 'matchsticks' as it were....(who was to dub lowry's paintings as being of matchstick people?) anyway....I can now see why, in a way...because pat had had her fingers burnt in a toaster, by the ill...in the 'finances office' up at the main building....and i wonder now...had her thumb been burnt, the most?
