sunday march the 27th....my mother's birthday...and seeing as I am not entirely sure as to their address in manningtree nowadays - see previous notes...best to send a card via email...which I have just done....
I have a whole drawful of my 'favourite cards' to suit every occasion....I buy them when I see 'one I like'...because I know the hell of going out to try and buy a suitable card 'the day before' and not finding anything that is 'right'...such a waste of time...
remember 'fatty owls' programming house on penfold road and the doctors? see also previous notes upon little colin and his 'owl' alter...my parents love owls...therefore I figured that this card might be appropriate:
"dear mum - congratulations upon managing to make it to 80 years old - you'll be expecting the queen's telegram next!" etc etc...
a lot of Clacton shops feature 'owls' in their window displays, nowadays....they have become rather popular, as a design/image....and across the board....I wonder why?
