oh and this might be really quite important....after I had left Essex circa 1984 and gone to stay with my grandparents in combs...grandpa and grandma were to talk about the 'dead sea'...apparently grandma had loved 'floating' in it...I was to ask them if it had been a 'church trip'...grandpa was to snigger that it hadn't been....
additionally my mother had also told me about how wonderful it had been floating on her back in the dead sea, when I was much younger...as if she had really been there...no mention had been made of Israel...and at the time....I wasn't even sure where it was located...I probably had a vague idea that it was Israel...but I simply wasn't interested....
now in both cases...see above...grandma clayton and her daughter Sylvia...didn't mention having been to Jerusalem or any other 'tourist site'...only the dead sea...go figure...
