...this morning i was to remember 'something' that dated back to totnes again...in H house....varro, the writing tutor and jane had organised a 'singsong'....basically we all had to chime in....a chorus....to that VISION ON signature tune...everybody did so politely and tunefully...i was the last one upon the line...all seats on the sofa and floor space in the living room had been taken...i was standing at the end of the sofa...and after they had all chimed in...i then sang in a loud and raucous voice...what most might think was a MUPPETS signature tune...except that it wasn't - was it? 'martini and henry' were trying to 'out' something very important indeed...and so i was to sing:

"MENACH MENACH...." - you know the rest...do-doo-be-do-do...

why 'menach' and not 'men-ur, men-ur'?

we had found out that VARRO as in 'MR GO' (va in french)....was being run by MR BEGIN's mob...menachim begin....

...they all looked at me...only jade laing 'caught' the real meaning of what i was trying to convey and went into a demonic alter as a response...but was unable to do anything, for the time being because at that split second...gill charged out of his bedroom with a SHOFAR and blew it as loudly as he could do...."BWARRRR!"

amadeus was horrified....he had been standing in that room but unnoticed...as an 'invisible' as it were....only jade laing could see him....although i also knew that he was there...but naturally, wasn't allowed to say....

...and there is more...remember how brenda had taken me to listen to a 'messianic jews' preacher...who used to be one of the sephardim...remember how he had made the biggest point possible - about buying your own shofar and blowing it?

well brenda was to do so...she also tried to persuade me to buy one...why didn't i? i now ask myself....because it had been really important, hadn't it? anyway, she let me 'have a go' on hers....and it was a laugh, granted...but you see i couldn't have learnt to blow it properly - not in a one bedroomed flat in manningtree...i would have been cautioned for 'noise disturbance/pollution' or something like that....

....and yes the silly thought did occur to me that if you went into the countryside and blew it...would all of those manningtree sheep - in fields, around the station - run at you? but rams don't blow their own horns - do they? however, i would have thought that the 'shepherd' reference is important here...the call to prayer etc...

anyway, the most important point to remember in all of the above...and in relation to 'martine/martini'....gill's youngest girl and boy child alter...he had remembered as a young boy...that he was really a 'young boy' and not a girl...by looking at his genitals....'the ram's horn' eh?

mcdonald was to laugh "he'll hear one at some point"...whilst in jerusalem....it was the designated 'trigger' to get him to wake up...to stop 'martine's influence'....and gill did hear a shofar, in the end...whilst rounding the corner of jaffa gate...was that brenda practising in her hotel room? anyway, he then ran for it...jumped into a taxi and offered the taxi-driver 'double' to get him to the airport, as fast as he could do....and why? well, remember what the taschmanns were about to do to him...i.e. break his legs in a local synagogue....for mark r then to continue the prolonged 'torture-to-eventual-suicide' route, back in NY....
