and yes, this is all more than a bit 'deja vu'....anyway, brenda can most probably remember the pony etc etc....oh and look - the holliday family and their love of 'cream teas'....hmmm....i had remembered that to then suggest to the 'international politics' lecturer - who had been in charge of 'coach trips' for the japanese MA students....to take them for a cream tea and only devonshire clotted cream will do etc etc...how english can you get etc etc....which is what he then did and as far as i can remember - they all enjoyed it immensely...quintessentially english etc etc....go figure:
