it's a pity Mitchell 'n' webb aren't still running...because I was to have an outrageous idea for a new comedy sketch, this morning...inspired by a BBC radio 4 news item about new research just out - which apparently proves that a stressful pregnancy can lead to personality disorders in the child - before the age of 30...anyway, after thinking about 'that one'...in relation to 'you couldn't prove it by sociological data' and nor could you prove it in relation to neuroscience i.e. the 'intrusive monitoring of an unborn child' in a stressed out mother's womb, would surely be illegal? etc etc....to then think....realise that the research had probably been paid for by 'big pharm' in order to sell a new drug...think of the market - I mean to say, every pregnancy is 'stressful' isn't it?...unless you are out of your box on something like heroin etc etc...anyway, I was to think about a continuation of Robert's sketch about pharmaceutical products-for-women....reductio ad absurdum....with a sidelong glance at 'crap taxidermy' et al...along the lines of "let daddy have a baby, this time!"...."because he's so much better than mummy - at everything!"...Robert could then start a competition with Mitchell - whilst dressed as 'pregnant men' - see previous notes upon that 60s 'don't-smoke-whilst-pregnant' poster along with that whole "I'm prettier than you!" saga...oh and see previous notes upon 'pregnant man's society' in relation to the beit din's insane belief that women are no longer 'necessary' etc etc...go figure.
