...because that 'fence' looks more like a graveyard...a cemetery of white tombstones...rather than 'paling sticks'....and perhaps that was the point - eh?....remember that jooish/Nazi program...with those who wouldn't take sides...programmed in as the 'bucket' in between (an improvisation, at the time) instead of 'beyond the pale' paling sticks....oh and that deeply-rooted fear of damage or worse to the etc etc....go figure:
