and the perennial question....which I have been asking since I first bought that Samsung phone but have never quite found an answer....because the icon-in-question was not upon the list in the pamphlet supplied by the manufacturer....why is there a 'magnetic tape icon' beside the R for 'roaming'?...i.e. the following symbol....go figure:
