hmmm...why do I sense that the term 'old bill'...(gill's alias being used, here - on the networks and most probably by the milibands)...is actually a covert reference to money? anyway, in the case of a suspected 'great train robbery' attempt...remember, 'marine boy' specialises in stopping that sort of international crime 'underwater'....go figure.
