this morning it is raining....wet, cold and grey....outside my living room window....

every so often i hear the wind blowing an 'avalanche of rainwater' off the roof....you can hear it fall.....and 'at the same time'.....which is rather unnerving....i hear an 'explosion of water' coming through the shower/bathroom taps....this happens 'quite often' and is rather odd....do i have a facility to store rainwater in this flat? what is going on?

what has happened to the pipes then? i don't get it....

before this point in time...i used to figure 'oh it's only the shower'....stored water that suddenly bursts out of it, for some reason....you see i have one of those showers that is linked to the bath taps...you push the main bit up or down...to choose 'shower' or bath taps.....

and yet i hear a 'burst of water' now and then....even though i have not taken a shower in days and only had baths....so what is going on there? i don't suppose that it is a big issue either way....it is simply the 'storage of rainwater' that is pertinent...to the topic of 'post apocalyse' lifestyles, i suppose....

...oh and having just had a look at the bathroom....i can see what is going on....'blowback' from the roof and the 'overflow pipe'....just outside of my window...that is what is happening....it isn't the pipes....it is water being blown in....via the top of my window - into the bath....sounds like a 'torrent' now and then...
