the funny thing about that woman's photo which the HH were to put up on their 'britfags' site....not exactly the same woman as they were to tell me 'but it looks like her'....as seen on the blurry cctv and having ascertained that it had not been me...i had been elsewhere and on better cctv at the time....the odd thing is....

well that book by LUCY MANGAN that my father had thoughtfully given me for xmas....you see the front cover illustration was by RIMINGTON - so something is 'up' there, isn't it?

secondly MANGAN looks 'at a push' as if she would be able to use my passport.....not sideways though...her profile looks more like 'one of the holliday sisters'.....and she's quite short, isn't she?

anyway, my father will have given me that book for a reason...normally he eschews that type of 'chick lit' and so does my mother.....

having trawled through the second half of it...i decided that it was comprehensive enough to qualify for 'british studies' in the early days...a bit like a 'snapshot of a generation'....the detail is quite immense.....one could say that it does a balancing act - between the academic and the comical....
