i was to walk down the seafront yesterday to see two council employees tarmacking the walkway....just the 'cracks' in it....well, i suppose that would be because they do not want anybody with pushchairs etc to sue if anybody trips over a crack rather than because they think that the prom is about to collapse into the sea....

anyway, there was a burst of colour....in the gardens today....so many yellow primroses and yellow wallflowers......it was a good sign, i figured....

funny how i had photographed it though...i can remember looking at the COMFORT HOTEL...remembered obama staying there...and well, looking at my photo...it is a bit 'yellow brick road' isn't it?
