anyway, i have just had a quick look back through the book for that MANDY reference - which had been in the original draft of RIMINGTON's book....because i can remember now...i had to read it 'cover-to-cover'....RIMINGTON was very proud of her work...but then she had been a girl/young woman's programmer since 'whenever' and knew all of the minutiae....everything that could be programmed with to groom/condition and terrorise a young girl/woman....

i had had to read it 'cover-to-cover' and i can remember remarking upon the MANDY reference....that comic was so old...nobody of my generation had read it....so it is highly likely that RIMINGTON's editors would have 'pulled that bit'....
