and now onto something that is 'very serious indeed'....

i was to go into the CLACTON main post office to try and find 'another envelope of passport forms'....to find that none of their stands had them....

at the last stand and to end of the post office....the end furthest away from the beginning of the queue...i was to pick up a small, thin leaflet about passports....


and to overhear a conversation at NUMBER 1 till of the post office....

a woman was asking to have her passport done 'before monday because that is when i am going on holiday'....

the man at the PO TILL then told her....hugging his THUMB whilst talking to her 'through the glass' that this would cost £300.....

hmmm....not stated as a 'service' in the brochure that i was reading at the time - from the display stand.....

£300 to 'get it done' between today as in a thursday and monday?

what was going on?
