....and what's new upon the bbc site, dazzlenation?...omg....some of the most iconic photos i've seen in a long while....where does one begin etc etc....well, let's begin with the prosaic rather than etc etc....how about an aerial view map? ....and to think that i was banging on about the new retail park in clacton - see previous post etc etc....pepper spray, rubber bullets and smoke bombs...dare i say it?...something along the lines of 'it could never happen here'....crossed-fingers...although it does give one pause for thought....go figure:

the odd thing about the BBC news headlines online...is that they have omitted what was a headliner upon BBC radio 3 and 4, this morning....regarding the palestinian flag, let us say - in the above shots.....anyway, it was reported that greta thunberg had been on board an aid ship which had been taken over by the israeli military - everyone taken prisoner etc etc...oh wait a minute - the story turns up as no. 1 on the BBC's 'most read' list...go figure
...decried by the israelis as 'media provocation' and all about 'instagram selfies'?...okay, so they might well see it as the smurfs vs sauron - aboard their captain pugwash's vessel 'madelaine' - singing 'mamma mia'?.....i.e. just narcissistic 'entertainment'?...but it's a bit more than that - isn't it...harrowing when you think about the dangerous waters that they are now in - considering what had happened to those turkish activists....hmmm....along with a wonderful sense of 'ordinary-people-can-do-it-too'....take an active part in changing world events...."on the battlefield" replies BI online.....oh and the odd thing about the direction of their ship upon the world stage, let us say....is that whilst most civilian vessels are fleeing war-torn etc etc....the madeleine's crew are brave enough to sail right into it etc etc....go figure.
