....and what's new this thursday evening, dazzlenation?...well, this morning - i was to see something that i have seen before....remember that middle-of-the-road incident in which a jackdaw was finishing off a starling....whilst being attacked on all sides by other starlings - including a pigeon in the mix....with a magpie standing further away....presumably carrying out that 'carrion' number - waiting to pick up on the 'dead'.....except that this time around - it appeared to be a rather large crow....hmmm...although 'rook' had come to mind first because of the shape of the head.....a large crow or raven...it had been on its own (unusual for crows - they are normally inseparable as a group) - by a bush in the gardens....sparrows often fly into those hedges....it had plucked one out and was attacking it with its beak - the sparrow was on its back making piteous noises - whilst the other sparrows dive-bombed that crow.....hmmm....doesn't carrion mean waiting until something is dead before etc etc?...."hitchcock - the birds" replies BI...oh well, there's no point in being so 'alarmist' is there?...lol....anyway, dazzlenation...you still appear to be on 'rivers of blood' and so who knows, eh...dona was to tell me, the other day - whilst walking through town - that everybody had gone crazy....well, not that i'd know....being 'mad and poor' in clacton appears to be the 'norm' etc etc...apart from one very odd number - quite comical, in fact - upon pier avenue by the buses....a rather large lady, wearing a red dress - was to dash out into the middle of the road - in front of a red bus - to stand bawling and swearing to her partner - parked upon the other side of the road - in front of boots - in a red car....that a man had kicked a pigeon....yes, really....she had gone berserk because of that....a couple of men near to the car were to laugh...."calm down, just calm down" whilst watching the scene....as she got back into the car and slammed the door.....gives 'seeing red' a new name etc etc....go figure.
