and what's new this boxing day morning, dazzlenation?...well, the following film is upon the timer system...'eye of the devil ' - 1966.....and this is as weird as it gets....not sure what to make of it all as yet and so i'll just put down what i can remember so far....firstly, the film was to have a private showing at rodway 'n' gill's colchester den....anyway, rodway had told gill that she didn't want to see it again....next up - matt smith was led in....looked as if he were drugged or in a trance, at any rate...he was led upstairs....hmmmm....something around a re-enactment because vanessa golby was to say that she wanted to play the wife....to matt playing the doomed husband...and yes, david niven had been one of his heroes...members of the sephardim then turned up....looking for a remoteviewer to abuse....and what else?....well, as to the actual film - the lilypad toad-transformed-into-white-dove number....was to remind me of rodway as 'jeremy fisher' for some reason....lol....kissing the frog, and all that....next up - i can remember an overview of sorts - courtesy of US intelligence....something around campestre and a satellite that they had nicknamed 'golden balls' which was recently taken down, i might add...."a sephardic number" replies BI online....which would chime in with the basic subject matter of the film....which is all about a 13th one cult that pre-dates christianity....the murder of the 1 for the 12 'dancers'..."christ and his apostles".....oh and there's more....because i can remember  something around the scene where the blond young man shoots the arrow at the head of niven's character....and that is because i had said to daldry 'n' malcolm - prague 1995...well, it's a bit 'william tell' but not.....with reference to sonia 'n' mark who had previously played the roles of the 'mad' brother and sister....and what else?....well, the MOD had their own casting....and so perhaps there have been quite a few re-enactments.....with amanda price in the role of the 'mad' sister on the battlements....oh and upon the note of sharon tate...gill was to state that the sephardim had murdered her but didn't give a reason as to 'why'....go figure:
