additionally, this is where it gets rather strange, dazzlenation....lol....remember how rimington used to win at hockey, whilst at school?....well, 'uncle horace' and his ex-military friends - had spotted her, all of those years ago now....in ambleside.....see previous notes upon us 14 year olds going up to the lake district for a walking holiday...(stenson had asked sue walker for her photos, whilst at sixth form - to laugh about etc etc....and yes, whalley had been on that trip, along with helen candy 'n' jan, deb mcd etc etc)....anyway, rimington had kicked melodee browning's ankle so hard, whilst passing by upon a main 'tourist' street, upon our last day....that she had nearly crippled her....the aforesaid network had noticed (seeing as i had just called at the butcher's - uncle horace wasn't around at the time but anyway etc etc) and melodee was rushed to a local doctor.....lucy holdsworth then called her father, from the surgery....a major in the british army.....who then arranged and paid for a car to transport melodee, along with lucy and myself back to solihull...now, how any of that fits in with the following is anybody's guess....more laughter....it is simply coming up as part of the same clump.....as it goes, eh?
