....and if we're still on 'gifts to royalty', dazzlenation...well, the british royals should have returned them or perhaps given them to charities to sell, rather than etc etc...shouldn't they?...and upon that note - i can remember being told in jakarta.....something along the lines of 'we don't have much in our museums because....' etc etc regarding dutch colonialism....it's all abroad...'we have to leave the country in order to see our heritage' etc etc...what a depressing scenario, eh?.....see previous posts....go figure:
