....and what else, dazzlenation?...well, oscar had told me about his grandson james, who has the option of studying medicine and becoming a doctor later on, despite studying A' level politics and biology, at present - at 6th form.....apparently all he has to do is to take a specialised course, which will enable him to etc etc....and so naturally i was interested in this new 'flexible' approach...whilst etc etc...well, you know what i'm saying...lol.....anyway, i then found the following upon google....firstly harlow college which does an 'access to medicine' course....entry requirements....O' level english, maths and science, at good grades...and secondly, harlow is an 'apple distinguished school', dazzlenation....what does that mean...lol....go figure:

Harlow College - Medicine – Access to Higher Education Diploma (harlow-college.ac.uk)

Schools - Apple Distinguished Schools - Apple (UK)

hmmm....and so what does it all add up to...."the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" replies BI online....and what does that mean, in this particular context.....because all that i can think of....is rodway 'n' williams enrolling their adopted children, into one of the original 'google chip' schools - set up for the purpose....and well, i wouldn't like to think that, here....however, i am reminded of gill-at-dartington...being given new apple products, before their release into the public domain - having signed on the dotted line, as it were and been chipped by them....something that i was careful to avoid....i don't need a chip to 'do the math' as the americans say etc etc....more laughter....go figure:

in fact, the whole thing was to remind me of just how hard i had tried to avoid the whole thing....remember the 'tardies' at essex - younger 'n' moore seated in that 'london university computing course' entrance exam....i made a quick exit....lol....see previous notes upon 'all of that'...continued to do 'just that' at dartington etc etc....anyway, the upshot was...that in order to keep my 'working brain'...i had to stay outside of the whole system....oh and guess what 'dartington' had been all about..."those that could still retain memory"....precisely that....one of eliza manningham-buller's projects....i.e. why could we remember, when most could not etc etc....hmmm....which in turn reminds me of the following...something that shu-chen-chen had known only too well but buller et al....were on a steep learning curve, let us say...in short, 'pictogram' languages are far more likely to retrieve memory than etc etc...for example, chinese - regarding the 'pictographic', along with the 'logographic'...e.g. the word 'dog'....if you are shown a picture of a dog - you can see its colours, sense how its fur would feel...how it might smell etc etc...however, if you are shown the word 'dog' then you will tend to think conceptually....lots of breeds...a generic term etc etc....go figure:

hmmm....something that i have to dig up, here - dazzlenation...but what could it be?...lol:
