....and what else, dazzlenation?...well, another of those programming sessions in the back garden of dr donald craig's house....was to come back...something that i hadn't thought was important, at the time....however, roll on the years...MOD/MI5 evans was to laugh about it all and in relation to that 'symbolic' football match - played outside of hotelu asystencki, as a memory aid....poland vs 'the rest of the world'....played after a 'draw' between england and poland, katowice....see previous notes upon 'all of that'........along with "so long as he's happy - it doesn't matter..." etc etc but apparently it did....anyway, let me backtrack now, to the brooks' brothers (remember, mcdonald had been the 'middle' child, in that family)....dr craig was to create a 'goal' upon the lawn....to then line the brooks' boys up in front of it....with their 'star' footballer, at the front....the rest of us were then told to line up, in front of  a white line, drawn upon the edge of the lawn - with our backs to the house...we were then given a flag to wave....andrew was to whisper to robert..."it's where you were born!"....sue was given a yugoslavia flag....robert - the ukraine....marr - france etc etc....andrew then hissed at colin..."you've got the wrong flag, you idiot!"....little colin didn't mind...he was dancing around, waving the union jack, for all he was worth....it was a flag, wasn't it?...he was having a good time...what did it matter etc etc..."a bit too young to understand" replies BI online......i was given a red/white flag...dr craig had told me that they weren't sure....and when i look back in it all, now...lol...monaco or indonesia?....who knows...oh and it had something in the middle of it...a little emblem but i couldn't decide what it was, at the time and i cannot remember it well, enough, now - to figure it out...and what else?...well, the game appears to have been a set-up....the idea was that each of us, had to go up and attempt to dribble the ball past their 'star' player - tim brooks...who at that point in time - had been in gill's class at langley juniors....and had been playing for the 4th year school team, since he had been in the second year....oh and even if we did manage to score a goal - it would have been offside...because the rest of us had been told to stand behind 'the white line' or something like that and yes, i am not sure that i 'get' it, even now...anyway - we were, later on - to realise etc etc...courtesy of gill - who knew the rules, rather well....when it came to my turn...i didn't bother to dribble...didn't know 'how' anyway....and so i stepped over the line and took a direct shot...."off side!" the brooks boys shouted...gill was then to politely tell them that "technically, that was a goal"....and all because little colin had been dancing on the lawn, over the line etc etc but far away enough not to have been offside....lol...anarchy on the pitch...."you cheated!" sue was to roar, at them....."i'm not playing!"....andrew then interjected that colin had been waving the wrong flag....to sue's ripost "whose side are you on, anyway?!?"....robert then got into a fight with the brooks boys and dr craig had to intervene...he then reluctantly decided that it had been a goal...and that meant...that we all had to 'start again'....whatever, that had meant, at the time....hmmm....something around the 'poles'...the brooks brothers had talked about the poles of the goalpost and po-land....however, i do not think that they were talking about the country poland....more likely to have been something around operation highjump....see previous notes upon sue running away with the pole....oh and another thing...'the rest of the world' team hadn't had a goalpost at all....just the house, behind us....go figure.

when you're not sure if you're a boy or a girl...and you like waving your flag...who cares what country it represents etc etc....lol....and yes, dr craig had been situated to the left, of the football goalposts, with his 'electronic box' and sound-gear....and yes, now i 'get' it all...little colin had acted as a 'diversion', according to rimington...i.e. whilst 'dancing around on the pitch/lawn' - oh and then he had attempted to 'tackle' me, with the ball (even though he had been on the 'same side' at the time)...and by doing so, he had 'blinded' the sight, of the game - of the oldest of the brooks' brothers...at which point, i was to take my shot...as it goes, eh?
