....oh and clacton really isn't that bad - even the 'local fleapit'...something that i used to call 'solihull cinema' in the late 70s, early 80s....see previous notes, regarding dearlove's program...and his performing 'fleas' - robert webb and CF....rimington used to love clacton, circa 1980....."dear old clackers" etc etc...oh and marr has recently found a similar love of the place....a geographical location, let us say - that isn't 'keeping up with the joneses'.....in relation to being a place where you can have a 'second home', let us say and be 'incognito'....a place, where almost everybody on the street....looks a bit....what were andrew's words, again?...a bit like him, after he had had his stroke i.e. nobody judges you....and of course, the sea air...aren't we all so lucky to be by the sea, during lockdown etc etc?.....go figure:
