that lace...stiff as a board...reminding me somewhat of the 'decor' in that house-of-wood....along with who Miranda Richardson must have tried to emulate....you see the funny thing, about both actresses, McDonald...is that they were both to play queen Elizabeth I 'true to form'..."poison dwarf" replies MI5 ONLINE...well, she didn't have 'dwarfism' exactly but she was very short, indeed - with a violent temper....and so even if Richardson's black-adder-pisstake had looked nothing more than that....it must have been based, in part - upon what the CIA lab had remoteviewed...regarding the real Elizabeth I - opposed to her 'stand-ins'...ie. the much taller and more 'refined' in speech/etiquette ladies-in-waiting etc etc.......go figure:
