a new ad on yahoomail this evening...hmmm...coincidence or not?...as I was walking up ellis road this morning...and just about to pass that house on the corner of west avenue (the 'red roses' stained glass number)....well there was a young man walking the other way...with a superman teeshirt on....underneath his coat....he was walking in a way, that suggested...let me see....CF 'in bruges'...the coat, 'hunched look' and general demeanour....he had brown curly hair and he gave a weird sort of 'grin' as he passed me (reminded me of a young video technician at Exeter arts centre circa 1990)....I wonder why? 'people are strange when you're a stranger..." and so on....except that I am quite familiar with the oddities of Clacton...and he didn't seem the type, to be wearing a superman teeshirt...a tight one, too...as if he had the whole get-up on under his coat and trousers....
