what else? well the conversation about 'oranges and onions' had come up because I was trying to find the courgettes button...she couldn't see it either...I suppose that we had both figured it would be 'clumped' with the vegetables on the screen...and it hadn't been...sandwiched between 'costa large' and 'croissant'...until I saw it down below...and later on realised that the screen was 'in alphabetical order'...go figure...

anyway, courgettes...I was to have a chat with 'percy' this morning...he was to ask me if I scooped out the middle of them, to then fill them with a meat sauce? he had remembered something...from  H house, totnes in the late 1980s...as follows:

I had made the above...but with marrows...to tempt 'those who wouldn't eat vegetables' i.e. 'percy' and gill...to do so...percy ate a bit of marrow but not that much...it was 'okay' apparently...how old was he then? in a child alter....I wonder now...you see it was the children who used to refuse to eat green vegetables...anyway, gill was shaking...as he stood up...I asked him what the matter was..."cocaine...crack cocaine...heroin? what is it this time?" etc etc...rimington then turned up at the frontdoor...I dived under the table...and then jade laing walked in...rimington went berserk at her...."you've almost killed him - don't you know how long it takes to cultivate....he has to go to hospital..." - laing was to repeatedly reply that he hadn't been obedient enough...gill was whimpering "just bugger me if you like" to laing...laing had a collection of dildos....percy was to comment "I don't think that'll do any good" - a bit of an alan Bennett in his way, very matter-of-fact....percy then told rimington that there was a 'mouse' under the table...she laughed "you and your mice...there's nothing there"...go figure. percy remembers me...and gill...oh and CF was also present at that supper....
