...what else? well 'percy' (although everybody calls him 'john' nowadays) had come prepared....at his usual table in front of THE OLIVE TREE...he had a broken stick of red/white candy rock....in cellophane...he offered it to me...I declined...saying that I didn't eat sugar because I was frightened of getting diabetes...I then offered him another of those M&S sugarless sweets...he declined....not interested in them, anymore....

and what do I mean by 'prepared'? well it was to act as a memory trigger to the following....rimington had also torn a strip off of laing for the way in which laing's mob were disguising their drugs....sticks of rock...see previous notes upon rimington's 'factory' of resin-based ornaments etc etc...sticks of rock were far too obvious....go figure.
