well tomlinson used to liken the head of a match to a person's head...you could 'set it on fire'...with a microchip i suppose....
the idea behind it all is that the REINHARTS microchipped everybody and stole their best ideas/work etc from them....as 'matches in their box'...having stolen the 'rights' in the first place....

secondly mark r identified as that 'IMPressionist jelly' on the table...'that's us'....reminds me of 'van gogh' colours, in a way...perhaps his 'empty chair' - supposed to represent GAUGIN?
