upon the note of THE FOG...i have just seen the wiki entry to see that it was panned by 'certain critics'...i wonder why and by whom?

i consider it to be a decent horror movie...yes the ending 'doesn't make sense' but that adds to the charm of the film, in a way...

at least there is a PLOT, character development and not just 'yawn and grimace as the zombie bodies pile up - with lots of stage blood everywhere)....and there  'no overuse of big bangs upon the sound track to make you jump out of your seat' - the sign of an inferior film in my book - if you have to resort that sort 'scary technique' continuously -  well you have no real skills in film-making at all...

and there are some interesting cameo roles - aren't they?

i can remember winnie improvising the DJ mother....to then exclaim - watching the actress who was to take over the part...'look at what she's done...it's brilliant...she's done it better so much better than me'....
