let me think...witham railway station....wasn't a lot of 'work' done in and around that station circa 2005? i can remember my parents saying....and they took the train down to london a lot...that for a long period...you were continually bussed around witham....so one would hope that SP did finally contact 'the right people' and get the job done....it all depends upon QUALITY CONTROL doesn't it? as 'guy on the bus' had been saying...no point in replacing the tracks with tracks that are 'just the same'....
