OTHER NOTES:

that gay byrne interview....mcdonald and SC were to say "don't let her know"...whilst they were doing investigations and 'cover-ups' in relation to what TOMLINSON had done to farrell's aunt....

suffice to say....all i could remember 'at the time' was that farrell's aunt had been lovely to him...a bit like visiting hanni gloor....he used to tell her 'what was up'....with tears welling up in his eyes....and after listening carefully to every word "is that it?"....she would then make a 'joke' of some nature...he would brighten up and then she would say that it was time for her afternoon sherry....watered down, of course....which she then proceeded to do, in a tiny glass....farrell used to visit her 'now and then' when he really felt 'in a bad way'.....and even when she knew that the young farrell was 'two sails to the wind' let us say....she was to pretend not to notice...and filled her sherry glass 'as normal' and then told him to "be off" because she had work to do....

in short, his auntie was somebody who 'knew' what was going on, to an extent....and had chosen 'prayer' as a way out....

....but that is not the whole story, is it?

tomlinson was to 'do something' but i do not know what or where...in relation to switching her pleasure/pain switch...

this was to result in her taking control of a local priest...relatively new to the profession....and it went something like this:

on her knees in her living room...beseeching the priest to use the birch rods...."i made them myself....for my sins...i beg you" etc etc...and no it isn't funny...although the eldest taschmann was to find it so, later on - along the lines of...

"oh jesus...and then you"....

well, gay byrne touches upon the subject of 'the man with the book', in the hospital...with farrell's aunt upon her death-bed...the point here? easily summarised...she had asked not to be given pain-killers...the priest had ensured that she had her wish...but past a certain point...a point where she could no longer speak....perhaps she might have wanted them? i do not know...all i know is that farrell was to attack the priest...who was helpless, given the situation - only going by her last wishes etc etc..."a good man" replies BI ONLINE....farrell was then bodily removed from the hospital...whilst his aunt was still in her death throes....that terrible choking sound...'the death rattle'....

the above is an example of the 'blunderbuss program'...the fallout is terrible...everybody is wounded - in relation to the survivors..."emotionally damaged".

oh and one other point....I can remember mark r whispering that his aunt was "so close to my heart"...what might he have meant by that one? a microchipped heart, apparently...
