something 'odd' was to happen to MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS yesterday...I was to stop a scan from running to then be asked if 'the program itself' wanted to make changes to the harddrive of this laptop....now why would gill's laptop ask to do that? i.e. does MSE want to make changes to the harddrive?
...I then 'saw' something on the networks...around a 'sock'...a bait and trap, if you like...
....so anyway, I clicked on 'yes'...to then find out a bit later on - that the program wouldn't scan any more....I then uninstalled it - to reinstall it again...now it is working perfectly again....
