and 'this one' is reminding me of a very old tennis ball...that a dog-owner had thrown into the sand-on-the-path by the toby carvery....the dog appeared to be unable to find it....sniffing around gingerly...and then, having eventually found it....well, the dog looked like maybe it didn't want to pick up something with that much sand on it...
