anyway the tops of the trees below are reminding me a bit of 'graupel' - seen around clacton, this morning....go figure:

anyway, the first time that i've ever seen the BBC website classify clacton as minus 3 (on saturday)......and normally, they underestimate just how cold it is....remember that whole sunak-at-the-library with linda's mob fandango....go figure:
