.....and what's new this thursday evening, dazzlenation?...well, 'the shock of the new' at clacton library - regarding their 'new acquisitions' book stand near to the door....hmmm....how do i explain this?...the other day, i borrowed the following - two items...firstly, 'stag dance' by torrey peters ('trans' short stories) certainly fitted the bill!....quite shocking and revelatory, let us say....and yes, i'd picked 'that one' up because of tomlinson-dressed-as-stag-dearlove-slave etc etc....and secondly, the other book?...well, more 'old hat', you might say...although 'revolutionary' in relation to context etc etc.....'between existentialism and marxism' by jean-paul sartre.....a series of essays....one of which is entitled 'tintoretto: st george and the dragon'....and having read it - all about sartre's obsession with the painting...so much so that when in london, he used to force his friends to go and view it with him - at the national gallery....well, you know something is 'up' or not as the case may be...."coded" replies BI online....exactly that....hmmm...i wonder if marr might be interested in the following regarding his 'bits'....trans and the op, anybody?....sartre goes on about how the actual subject...the 'act' is almost hidden....you can hardly see the lance piercing etc etc...the focus appears to be on....er....well, after your eye has taken in the monster and the dead body........a tree stump....and then a fleeing maiden?...a drama in three acts....he also goes into minute detail - regarding venice/lagoon/skies/light...."pointing out there were ladyboys in venice" replies BI online....i don't know - i'm not conjecturing here - knowing next to nothing about the subject etc etc.....do you know the phrase in italian - circa 1550s?...the 'castrati' - for example?...before puberty rather than after and so 'not applicable' here, necessarily....nota bene the fleeing maiden appears to be more interested in an erect tree - as yet 'unchopped' than the monster behind...."circumcision"....well, there are quite a few potential allegories at play, here - aren't there?....what was the real story etc etc....may i remind you that certain compositions of st george and the dragon, used to be used...notably upon the MI5 russian course 1980...to denote the lance-puncturing-the-pineal-gland regarding memory dump....brutal local lobotomies etc etc....oh and take a look at that whorl/eye upon the tree....compare and contrast to the maiden's eye along with the monster's etc etc..."the whites of their eyes"....hmmm....reminds me of a certain man outside of 'brooks' upon the station road, the other day - regarding you-know-what etc etc....see previous posts....anyway, i think that we can safely say that the painting and subject matter is a 'site of trauma' - both psychological and physical....and that sartre had treated it accordingly - giving it the attention, it deserved...i might also add that in alchemical illustrations - a certain motif is etc etc....go figure:

from the medici library....'petit mort' eh?...british military intelligence 1980 - aka scarlett and rimington were to tell me that it was common for men to get an erection whilst being hung by the neck etc etc....similar perhaps to how a dying tree gives off etc etc:

wait a minute.....toby macklin as 'orchid'....along with mark r as 'beaver' etc etc?
