original 'ducking pond' used to be about that size or less upon a hot sunny day - see below...although used to dry up, in summer - to the point where there was so little water in it etc etc....another pool upon blackheath - used to be completely dry..."sinking mud" we were told as children and warned not venture down into the etc etc.....anyway, not with the same trees, involved upon its banks and more than likely not in the same location - given the re-landscaping of the pond and roads etc etc:
