...and what interests me, here - isn't the chilli con carne....something that carol sutton (IBM chief's wife) had once tried to tempt sylvia with....lol....nor that public health warning - once issued to sylvia by another director of public health after inspecting her fridge.....it is the 'hawker/pauker' reference to that 'white elephant stall' bazaar at langley seniors......surrounding the kitchen roll....more laughter...oh and whilst we're on 'White Elephant Stall'....jeremy clayton had once laughed...."just call me 'wes'"...short for 'wesley' - in relation to the violet clayton 'plymouth brethen'/quakers christian connection?....hmmm...perhaps not....go figure:
