....and what's new this friday evening, dazzlenation?...something around quasi-collie's translation class....and their desire to get 'back to basics' and learn some maths....fractions had always been a problem.....to the reply that it was in fact, a semantic problem....e.g. substitute 'of' for 'x'/times/multiplication....a quarter of a quarter...rather than 1/4 x 1/4 ...draw the circle with the 16 partitions etc etc...along with 'when in doubt, draw it, until you understand....' etc etc....lol.....go figure:
