...statues, dazzlenation?...thoughts for today...pin or stick a 'symbol' to every statue, representing somebody that has been involved in slavery....you know the type of thing...a poppy/ribbon etc etc...it might make a certain minority within the UK feel a bit uncomfortable (unlike the majority within the british isles i.e. those who had originally found the first 'offenders' out - centuries ago, now - and taken action, accordingly)...and perhaps the USA, even more so...although - offhand, i cannot think of how many US presidents had been involved in slavery etc etc...oh and what about the italians, in relation to 'caesar' and their emperors etc etc....must make them feel a little bit on edge etc etc....but what does it matter?....if most of the world, is now against slavery, i mean to say....past, present and future...we can all stop it, now....and therefore a 'bow' or a 'flower'...or even a 'lemon-with-picks-in-it' LOL etc etc....would be simply a gentle reminder that nobody wants a slave-driving cannibal/paedophile cult governing their country, or for that matter....the whole wide world...besides, getting rid of all of those statues...what can i say but that i am worried about the legal aspect, here....in relation to the so-called 'crimes' and the only-too-real punishments...and so please - let us all lighten things up, a bit....just pin/stick/hang something i.e. a symbol that everybody knows....a symbol that cannot cause offence to anybody...what about a 'daisy (dr - day see/daze) -chain-around-the-statue's-neck' for example?...to every statue that has been linked with slavery...so that sight-seers/tourists will know 'at-a-glance' that there is a hidden history etc etc....as it goes, eh?
