oh and that is what 'terry' had called it...."a telescopic trap" without even taking it out and looking at it....LOL....and yes, once his plumbers had taken it out...it did look a bit like that...except that it had a white plastic cup at the top of it...blocking it up, completely....go figure:
and I suppose that....in 'that way'...terry and his plumbers were protecting me from being fined by CHP/said drainage company, for blocking a pipe....because they were to record the fact that nothing much was found in the trap...therefore how could I be held responsible for what might or might not be 'down the pipe'...because a trap would stop anything 'big' from going down....and a trap that doesn't let anything at all, down...LOL....as it goes, eh?
