oh and those batteries....McGowan had been handed them, whilst living in Harwich circa 2008....to then be told to substitute them for etc etc....and yes, I 'get' it now...lee Jackson and the lee-king...lea-king batteries....go figure.
oh and an 'odd one' to end the whole sequence....my father had been bemused by a Victorian/Georgian replica of the following pedigree dog....in his 'playroom' at sophie wyss'/captain gyde's house (late 60s/early 70s)....apparently the 'doll' hadn't been his...perhaps Arnold's then?...a sort of 'hobby horse' but not - it was 'on wheels' (upon a sort of skateboard platform - 4 wheels) and had a tall, red metal 'hoop' at the back, to push it around with...and yes, very young children could be pushed around, on its back (a steel/wooden armature inside, I suppose)...anyway, I call it a 'doll' because the fur wasn't real - although the whole 'effect' had looked authentic - a bit like 'teddybear fur' from the Victorian era....go figure:
anyway, this is all about lisa etc etc....'her day in the flat'...and what she had wanted to be reminded of...the 'wiry' as in wire-e.....go figure:
oh and I have always had a fondness for those dogs...you don't see them around, often - nowadays...especially pedigree ones...and yes, the above photo wasn't a good shot of the dog, above (I had figured that getting the 'olive-tree-Jerusalem-reference' in, was a good idea - in the Mediterranean prom garden...something around lisa telling mark r's mossad that they would be the 'wires' - whilst giving them an image of that type of dog)....but let me tell you this...you could see it was absolutely 'pedigree' and tremendously healthy....on the prom, this morning...and his owner was to tell me that his name was 'jonas'....go figure:
