....and what else?...well, i was to watch the 'short' on 'the ordeal' dvd....a film entitled 'a wonderful love'....to remember pat telling me "you'd better sit in on this"....and so i did....ha ha ha...to remember, afterwards....gill walking down a certain corridor, sneering at CF, over his shoulder....as he walked past CF, quickly...."allo gloria!"....CF was having a bit of a meltdown, at the time....

and what else?.....well, later on - gill was to explain to CF 'in detail'....and how shall i paraphrase the next bit?...something along the lines of "look, you might think that you have got it bad - with that taschmanns pisstake (i.e. 'the ordeal' movie) but i have got it a lot worse'....as in the movie PERSEPOLIS....which i have, as yet - to watch.

...and what else?...well 'campestre' had been online, to talk me through a bit of it i.e. 'the ordeal'....and so french intelligence had also been involved...along the lines of 'and now do you see why the french have a certain stereotype of belgium and belgian culture - no smoke without fire' etc etc...see previous notes upon CF starring 'in bruges'....'the pingouin' in credits - anybody?

....and of course....this all fits in under the umbrella title of THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN and 'the local shop'.....watch 'extras' to see the director of 'the ordeal' talking about the 'precis' and the 'precious'....go figure.

...and what else?...this is a film to give you nightmares...i wouldn't advise anybody to watch it unless they were....well, i am not quite sure 'what'....because this film is in the league of DON'T LOOK NOW and associated genres i.e. it will most probably give anybody who watches it - nightmares....and therefore in terms of 'suspense' and 'psychological horror'....and without the usual shlock 'blood and gore' imagery and events, attached to most hollywood horror movies, i might add....this film has reached a certain 'zenith' within that particular 'art-house-european-genre' to my mind...which was - in fact, what the director had hoped to achieve - see 'extras' for the interview. In short, if you had thought that the 'blair witch project' number, was too 'scary' for you...please do not watch 'the ordeal'.

...after having watched 'the ordeal'...i had to remind myself (as if i needed to do so)...that i was not a 'one-man-band' performance act....driving around the hinterlands of 'somewhere-like-belgium-in-terms-of-countryside'...trying to earn a living....and in retrospect, i can now see why CF was so freaked out by it all - after having watched that movie....see previous notes upon his earliest career years, as a performance artist....in relation to a 'camper van' and a certain 'cowboy show'...and gill, of course - wasn't helping...."you think that you're got it bad..." etc etc within this stage of taking down the whole MKultra ill cult 'show'....hmmm...mark r had always had an obsession about gill...he had wanted to 'break' him....whereas, mark r didn't appear to have the same sort of obsession, with CF...."you're LUCKY!" as gill was to tell the bemused CF - who hadn't quite 'got' it, at that point...."he's after me!"....go figure.
