oh and who are all of those other 'gydes'?....connected to Arnold gyde's family, perhaps? I don't see how...because I would know, wouldn't I?...one of them is 3 years older than myself...and I only know about Arnold's children I.e. Edwin, caroline and sophie gyde....go figure:
all in all it is reminding me of uncle Arnold because according to my father...Arnold had had to leave Germany, with his family - and come to live in the UK...because he had set up so many businesses which then failed, in Germany - that they took away his trading licence and so he could no longer 'do what he used to do'...go figure.
