i was to watch THE GIVER to remember having watched it with emet.....to remember him saying something about CF..."he'll remember more than she does about that..."

anyway, the 'programmed parrot' of the piece, appears to be the lead character's best friend 'asher'...who gives him a chance...go figure...

oh and i was almost immediately reminded of that 'baby motorised go-kart racing'...which had looked highly dangerous at the time...dads with their babies upon what appeared to be homemade motorbikes/perambulators etc etc...but upon the other hand i 'knew' that it was all for a good cause...and now i can remember - the rebel group putting together that 'memory aid'...a reminder of a certain chase scene in THE GIVER where the lead character escapes with a baby, upon a battery-powered bike - over the boundary line...in order to give his SF 'cult' community back their memories...watch it and see....

...and this sunday morning 21/08...at around 7.30am...i was to look out of my living room windows...to see that clacton had already 'come alive'...cars on the streets...people on bikes...people strolling down the pavements....this is highly unusual - even during the summer months...normally clacton is as quiet as the grave upon sunday mornings (it only gets going by about 10am when the shops open)...i.e. only a handful of people walking their dogs because they have to...and certainly no cars around...therefore 'something' must be going on today, in clacton...but what? i'll check on the internet....
