oh and another odd thing...the other day, whilst chatting to my friend from environmental services, on pier avenue, a couple of days ago now...in front of the entertainment vendors....we were to chat about quite a few things, including the weather forecast etc etc...to then part company....he was to say "i'll see you in summer"....and I was to do a double-take....in summer...what did he mean? was he going on a long holiday, or something?...and seeing as he used to be a taschmann...he used to hang out with the eldest taschmann, CF and PKW/webb etc etc....the one who had noted the continental 'collies' chasing up and down his garden - see previous notes....well, you never know - do you? perhaps he had figured that the ill would 'get him' again and that he would end up at a 'sumer' event...who knows?
