....and what's new regarding that indoor shed 'diesel spill' biznez - dazzlenation?....well, CHP had a van parked outside and they were clearing out the debris of that fallen ceiling.....whereas the environmental protection team doesn't appear to be unduly worried - regarding that other adjoining indoor shed upon the basement floor (now the ceiling has caved in, in one of them - you can access the other, at that level) ....i suppose that their remit is so large that possibly they only deal with stuff that affects the whole community or something like that....go figure:
anyway, with the help of WD-40, tuesday morning....i was able to replace my bathroom shower hose which had broken, the other day.....to then email CHP about the wall holder....because the longest shower hose isn't long enough....hmmm....i really need a 2m number....plumbers tend to stretch the metal coils to the point where the hose is nearly at breaking point, in order to get the nozzle into that holder and that can't go on, can it?....the wall holder needs to be placed at a lower height etc etc....and let me see....something 'odd' is going on here....CHP have always put in 1.5m hoses, which is idiotic - their standard issue length, i suppose - why not go for a 2m hose and having just found out that screwfix does a 2m hose....er....anyway - perhaps it's all symbolic - you know how the masons are about all of this tardville stuff....that dreadful 'shower' at the top etc etc...."they need a longer hose to get at them" replies BI online....lol....as it goes, eh?
