..isn't that fabulous photography - dazzlenation....almost 'unworldly'...reminds me a bit of 'lord of the rings' and the trolls etc etc....go figure:

not to mention matthew's little stone house, on the edge...although he had told me, so many years ago now - that it had been pulled down...demolished....same part of the world, though....the mountain folk and their myths etc etc oh and that reminds me of franco and a certain conversation at hotelu asystencki....he had come from an island, whereas i had lived etc etc....he replied that there was a lot of folklore about the sea, too...and so the above photo, encapsulates so much, for me....you bang your pots and pans during an electrical storm to frighten away 'it'...and then you go down the mountain to worship mother mary, in church...as it goes, eh?

anyway, the BBC is reporting a rockfall in brienz - this evening....although that had been a bit of a distraction, as far as i am concerned....because i had to finish this search...by finding this particular 'landslide' let us say...with a sidelong glance at monier saving oscar, from falling over the edge, by talking him through it etc etc...hmmm...and upon that note - oscar was to tell me that monnier, having been diagnosed with incurable cancer was then to suffer another blow....lol....his wife, nini had found out that he was having an affair with her best friend...and so naturally i began to wonder if that had hastened his demise?...go figure:
