oh and dibbens had wanted to know how i'd got out of that MRI appointment without triggering them all....simple - really....that footage of crompton....laughing to his aide about that sheet of telephone numbers...."they never do"...do what, precisely?...read it through, word for word...to realise that calling the doctor and/or his secretary was only for 'follow up' appointments...despite having a letter in your hands, citing the doctor's name etc etc...according to crompton - people tended to want to speak to the doctor, directly....however, the telephone sheet stated that for first appointments, you had to use the numbers towards the bottom of the sheet...you then get put through to the colchester hospital eye department switchboard...oh and 'kate' had needed a reminder that she could cancel it, rather than asking a doctor, seeing as it was a first appointment and not a follow up job etc....as it, goes eh?
