hmmm....reminds me of being on deck, with 'crappy'....as it was meant to do, i suppose...in a very alternate universe....with a projector rigged up, on deck - to show the crew what i had been up to....regarding a whole load of 'maths' and graphs...and in relation to a computing model that i was putting together for the powers that be....who had wanted to see at a glance....what was going on, regarding their ships.....and that had initially started with me going around with a clipboard, asking questions....to go down to inspect the machinery....to then be given a 'naming of parts' whilst i used a scanner to find out the tort, friction etc etc....we then mapped it all, with the help of a translator - so that once at port - the damage could be easily seen and understood.....and an emergency port call then ensued....oh and i was also to find out that some of the men couldn't swim....and so i organised a list of them to be put onto the first etc etc....strange but true....remember ex-marine dibbens admitting that he couldn't swim etc etc....and yes, there weren't enough places upon the lifeboats etc etc....the translator organised a helicopter to get off, immediately - having been asked to help with the mapping.....i shouldn't laugh because it isn't funny - although it had amused emet, at the time - must have been 'mossad' in order to arrange that quick escape route etc etc....anyway, the ship managed to get to port....most of the crew were offloaded onto another ship etc etc....oh and it is my birthday today - at least it is - regarding my birth certificate.....see previous notes upon 'all of that'...as it goes, eh?
