....and what else, dazzlenation....regarding that 'flowers' series....well, i was to have a look through a glass darkly.....lol...to find out that those writing the script at endemol.....had figured that 4 sisters was 3 too many...and the story that they wanted to tell - was all about sophie.....and so you have this weird 'condensing' effect.....where dr tony smith 'impersonator' ends up playing the father.....campestre 'n' ray fishwick end up playing 'japanese illustrator'...and yes, ray's relationship to smith was very 'boyish' and enthusiastic, let us say...and yes, i can remember french intelligence laughing about all of it....campestre had, in fact - turned up at the house....and hidden under a car....more laughter....as it goes, eh?.....oh and 'dame harriet walter' used to give mcallum dossiers and tell him "just deal with it!"...in real life....not an acting role, you understand - dazzlenation....go figure:
