oh and whilst still upon the topic of 'hairdressing' gill....see previous notes upon hyacinth brackett and the 'sealant' etc etc...I was to remember a mate of yours (from the Clacton area) who used to always use a metal comb...."if you want to keep your hair" etc etc....and so I was then to look up 'metal combs' at BOOTS....denman anti-static combs....go figure:
